A working connection is the beginning. A useful trading workflow also needs explicit permissions, observable behavior and a reliable stop.

1. Choose a supported integration

Open the official Eterna AI portal and follow the documentation linked for your client. The portal currently marks some integrations as coming soon. A listed logo does not mean that integration is available.

2. Separate research from execution

Start with a small set of read-only tasks: inspect market data, inspect account state and explain a proposed order. Do not enable trading just to test whether the connection works.

Configure authentication through the official workflow. Do not paste secret credentials into shared prompts or source files.

3. Review the account and permissions

Confirm which account or sub-account the integration controls. Review the current permissions in the official tools, including how execution and withdrawal approval are handled. Do not assume a label such as “isolated” removes the financial risk of an order.

4. Define the bounds before the first order

  • Markets the agent may access.
  • Maximum order notional and total exposure.
  • Permitted order types and acceptable price deviation.
  • A maximum loss threshold and an explicit stop process.
  • Which actions require a fresh human review.

These limits should be enforced in the tool or account configuration where possible, not only described in a prompt.

5. Test observation, then review a proposal

Ask the agent to show the account it sees and the inputs behind its proposal. Check quantities, units, order direction and whether an order increases or reduces exposure. Do not proceed to real execution until those details are unambiguous.

6. Keep a record

Record proposed and executed orders, rejects, fees and the reason an action was allowed. Track net results after costs. A successful API call or a green example trade is not evidence of a profitable system.

Know the integration boundary

This website provides a guide; it does not connect an agent, provision an account, manage API keys or submit orders. Follow the official docs for installation and current syntax.
